Happy New Year!!!! Michelle Lacson Photography 2014 Review

While 2014 was the hardest year for me personally, it was the best for me professionally. Strange how things happen. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all 29 of my wonderful couples from this year!! I love you all, and am so happy you had me there to capture your special day!! 

Special shout out to the couples from the second half of the year (after I lost my dad) that have been so incredibly patient with me. I took some time off and it's been a long game of catch up.

This year took me to some amazing venues including Disneyland, Dove Canyon, The Queen Mary, Galpin Ford, CBS Studios, The Santa Barbara Zoo, Riviera Country Club, Knollwood Country Club, Orcutt Ranch, Bella Vista Groves, the Sky Room, and so many more!!

Danielle & Nate: Agoura Hills family session

I think fate brought me to this sweet family. Danielle is a fellow photographer (you can follow her amazing work here, and she was kind enough to second shoot a few weddings with me this year. I was surprised and excited to then find out that she is married to an old friend of mine that I worked with back in college. What a truly small world we live in.

 I was ecstatic that she chose me to capture her cute family for the holidays this year. We got to explore a new location, and much to the boys excitement we even found a snake. Hope you love your photos Danielle & Nate!

Crystal & Erik: Orcutt Ranch Wedding

I can't say enough sweet things about this couple. Crystal is a fellow photographer, and we met when she assisted me on a wedding earlier this year. I loved that she put so much heart into her own wedding to make sure it was perfect for them. Her colors and details were just gorgeous. The underlying theme was California oranges, and the famous Route 66 that connects their hometowns. Hope you enjoy some of my favorites! 

On a personal note, this wedding was exactly one week after my father passed away, and I would not have been able to get through it without the help of my wonderful friends Jessica Angell Photography & Silver Gecko Photography. Thank you both! XOXO
